Shannon Mannese, CPA, CFE, was graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Shannon is a Partner in the Auditing Department of RBT CPAs, LLP, and is the lead Partner on commercial and nonprofit audits.

Shannon’s experience with the Firm includes: commercial auditing and accounting; pre-audit review; engagement planning; internal control testing; managing audit teams; internal auditing; reviewing workpapers; employee benefit plan audits; cost testing; and inventory observations, efficiency, and management review.

Shannon’s industry experience includes insurance agencies, construction, service, manufacturing, and nonprofit organizations.

Shannon regularly attends courses on utilizing IDEA data mining software, including seminars on Fighting Fraud with Data-Mining Techniques, and has implemented its use on numerous engagements.
